Our Beach Vacation -- Oct 2003
We had a great time at the beach this year.... same town, same condo, but more fun in store as I met new friends, got to go to the zoo and built lots of sand castles.

Our trip down on Sunday was pretty uneventful, but when we got there on Sunday evening the sun was just about to go down and we got to go to the beach and make some pictures with me, Grand, Mommy and DA!  Then, off to our favorite pizza place -- Jordano's -- for a no-cook quick meal!

On Monday it was a little cool in the morning, but that didn't keep us from getting out to the beach and taking in some rays!  We got to build some sand castles and I met another little girl from Atlanta -- Sara Grace.  We played all week while they were there.

We went to the beach every day except Thursday, when we got up and went to the zoo!  I got to see tigers, lions and bears (oh, my!) plus alligators, camels and more.  I got to pet a deer and a goat and even feed a giraffe.  We rode a train through the African wildlife section and saw some really beautiful animals in a somewhat natural habitat.

Grand and I stayed at our condo on Thursday night while Mommy and Da went to dinner together....we had a good time.  Grand worked with me to do just about every puzzle and problem in my workbooks!  I was still up when Mommy and Da got back in!

We did a little shopping while we were there, but not too much, got to go get ice cream together and just had a great time.  No clouds in the sky, no red tide, everything was just right!

I can't wait till next year to go do it all over again...maybe I'll meet some more new friends.

I hope you enjoy the pictures we took while there.

Our Beach Vacation to Destin.....
Just sit back, enjoy the ocean and watch these photos....they'll change about every ten seconds or so.
Yellow Cat was ready for the beach!
At our favorite restaurant, the Back Portch, eating a blackened mahi-mahi sandwich!
We got unpacked just about sunset on Sunday...it was really pretty and gave us an opportunity for a group photo or two!
